African Currency On-Ramp (P2P Add Money) UX Review
Greep Pay lets diaspora users fund their stablecoin wallet directly from African fiat currencies (NGN, XOF, GHC, ZAR, KES, etc.) via a peer-to-peer agent network or third party payment partners. Testers will go through the full flow 'Add Money' journey: pick a fiat currency (NGN, XAF) , choose a verified agent if they choose the "Bank Transfer", send a local bank transfer or mobile money, upload proof if applicable, and confirm the deposit lands as USD/USDC in their wallet.

Requirements
Features to Test
- 1. Currency selection & search — Is it easy to find your local currency in the Fiat list? Does the search function work as expected? Are all advertised African currencies (NGN, GHC, ZAR, KES, ZMW, MAD) present and clearly flagged?
- 2. Deposit method clarity — Are the differences between Bank Transfer, Flutterwave, Yellow Card, Spotflow, and Link clear? Do the fee percentages shown (0%, 2%, 1%–2%, 1%–1.30%, 1%) help you choose, or are they confusing?
- 3. FX rate transparency — Is the conversion rate (e.g. "$1 = NGN1,485") displayed clearly enough that you trust the numbers before committing? Is the min/max transaction limit ($1 min — $1,000 max) easy to find?
- 4. Bank account selection/add flow — Is choosing an existing saved account vs. adding a new one intuitive? Is it clear whose account name needs to match (the depositor's own name)?
- 5. Agent matching & trust signals — When matched with a verified agent, is their identity/verification clear enough to feel safe sending money to them? Does the "Online" status and verified badge build confidence?
- 6. Transfer instructions accuracy — Are the account number, bank name, and account name easy to copy/reference while making the actual bank transfer in your own banking app?
- 7. Countdown timer pressure — Does the 14:59 timer feel like helpful urgency or stressful pressure? Is it clear what happens if time runs out?
- 8. "I've Sent The Money" confirmation step — Is it clear this is a self-attestation step, not an automatic verification? Does the flow set the right expectation that the agent still needs to confirm?
- 9. Proof-of-payment upload — Is the receipt upload step easy to use? Is it clear why you need to upload proof (for escrow/dispute protection)?
- 10. Escrow/security messaging — Does "Your money is 100% Protected by GreepPay's Secure Escrow" actually reassure you, or does it feel like boilerplate? Would you trust this enough to send a large amount?
- 11. Final confirmation & receipt sharing — Once "Deposit Successful" shows, is it clear the funds have landed? Do "See Details" and "Share Receipt" work as expected and provide enough detail?
- 12. End-to-end time-to-fund perception — Subjectively, did the whole flow feel fast/trustworthy enough that you'd use this over a traditional bank wire or another remittance app?
Test Scenarios
- New user: select NGN or XAF as fiat currency → choose Bank Transfer as deposit method → fund wallet via P2P agent → confirm deposit lands in wallet
- Returning user: switch fiat currency mid-flow (e.g. start with NGN, back out, restart with GHC) → complete deposit
- Edge: enter an amount below the $1 minimum → check error copy and recovery
- Edge: enter an amount above the $1,000 max → check error copy and recovery
- Edge: back out of the flow after being matched with an agent, before sending money → confirm no funds are stuck or agent is left "waiting"
- Edge: let the 14:59 countdown timer expire without tapping "I've Sent The Money" → check what happens and whether recovery path is clear
- Edge: tap "I've Sent The Money" without actually uploading a receipt → check if the app blocks or warns you
- Edge: upload an invalid or blurry receipt image → check error copy and recovery
- Edge: add a new bank account with incomplete/incorrect details → check validation and error copy
- Edge: select an agent, then tap "Cancel" on the Confirm Transfer screen → check what happens to the matched agent and reference code
- Edge: lose network connection mid-transfer (after sending money, before confirmation) → check app behavior on reconnect
- Edge: attempt to start a second deposit while a previous one is still pending agent confirmation → check if app allows or blocks this
