Greep Pay — Savings Pots (Flex / Goal / Vault) UX Review
Greep Pay's Savings Pots let users set aside stablecoins for goals (rent, phone, emergency fund) and earn up to 10% APY, with optional auto-save via percentage-of-payment or round-up rules. Testers will create a pot from scratch, fund it, configure auto-save, and review the savings dashboard.

Requirements
Features to Test
- 1. Pot type clarity — Is the difference between Flex, Goal, and Vault clear before creating a pot? Do the one-line descriptions ("Withdraw anytime," "Save for a set amount," "Lock funds for a time") set the right expectation?
- 2. Pot creation flow length — Does the number of steps/screens to create a pot feel appropriately quick, or is it longer than expected for a simple savings goal?
- 3. Lock Pot / unlock date UX — Is it clear what happens if you try to withdraw before the unlock date? Is the date picker easy to use?
- 4. Funding a pot — Is choosing a funding source (wallet vs card) clear? Does the amount entered match what lands in the pot?
- Auto-Save: Percentage of Payment — Is the slider (1%–20%) easy to use? Does the example ("Ex. Spend $7.40 → Save $0.60") make the mechanic clear?
- 5. Auto-Save: Round-Up Payments — Is it clear this is a separate mechanism from Percentage of Payment? Can both be active at once without confusion?
- 6. Pot dashboard readability — Are balance, progress bar (e.g. "27% — $750"), and interest earned ("+ $90 This Month") easy to read at a glance across multiple pots?
- 7. Savings History — Is the funded/roundup activity log clear about what triggered each entry and when?
- 8. Editing settings after creation — Is it easy to find and change auto-save rules on an existing pot? Does the change take effect immediately or require confirmation?
- 9. Withdraw flow — For a Flex pot, is withdrawing straightforward? For a Goal/Vault pot before unlock, is the restriction explained clearly rather than just blocked silently?
- 10. Empty state vs populated state — Does the savings dashboard make sense both before creating any pots and after creating several?
Test Scenarios
- New user: create a Flex pot → fund it → confirm balance updates on dashboard
- New user: create a Goal pot with a goal amount and no lock → fund partially → confirm progress bar reflects correct percentage
- New user: create a Vault pot with Lock Pot enabled and a future unlock date → attempt withdrawal before unlock date → check error copy and recovery
- Edge: enable Percentage of Payment auto-save → make a payment elsewhere in the app → confirm the correct % lands in the pot
- Edge: enable Round-Up Payments → make a payment with change → confirm the round-up amount lands in the pot and matches the example shown
- Edge: enable both auto-save mechanisms on the same pot → confirm no double-counting or conflicting behavior
- Edge: try to create a pot with no title or $0 goal amount → check validation and error copy
- Edge: edit an existing pot's settings (change % slider, toggle round-up off) → confirm change is saved and reflected in next funding cycle
- Edge: withdraw full balance from a Flex pot → confirm pot still exists and can be refunded, or is removed
- Edge: lose network connection while funding a pot → check app behavior on reconnect
